When it comes to music I wouldn’t say that hip-hop is my favourite genre but after listening to the talented MellyBaggz it has become one if my favourite genres. Unlike many artists, who havelost the essence of hip-hop, this artist has kept the integrity of the genre intact in his recent creation ‘New York N*gga’. This track is very close to another one of his creations titled as ‘Hella Haters’. Even thought he has started creating music by the starting of this year, ‘New York N*gga’ has certainly attracted a lot of attention including mine.
MellyBaggz collaborated with Boston Greg when this song was turned into a reality. At first, I took this track to be a hip-hop party track But later realized there was more to this song than just the groovy hip-hop melody. When it comes to the lyrical element of ‘New York N*gga’ there is a certain blend with real-life experiences that makes it so unique. Here I could truly see the artistic excellence of MellyBaggz. The mezmarsing creativity of this track got me shuffling through his collection and got me hooked to two if his other creations ‘Get Right’ and ‘Comin’ Thru’.
