I have always found peace and been relaxed in this genre so with time, this has become one of the most listened to categories of music that I enjoy and listen to. A few days back I had the opportunity to listen to an upcoming album titled ‘Romance Is Bad’ by a very talented artist, Gracie Jean. I have heard people say that sadness is addictive which might be true because since I listened to it for the first time, I could not stop myself from listening to it again and again.
The album contains a total of 9 tracks that took me through an emotional rollercoaster and I consider it to be the ultimate ‘sad girl starter kit’. In just a short period, the album has become one of my comforting musical pieces. The artist, Gracie Jean has shown irreplaceable artistic talent which can make the audience easily compare her with other country music icons such as Kacey Musgraves, Taylor Swift, etc. The album, ‘Romance Is Bad’ is about embracing human emotions as we tend to always ignore feelings and focus on leading a perfect life. The artist has shown her exceptional talent of being a storyteller and an amazing songwriter in the album tracks that perfectly reflects the vulnerability of the artist.
The lyrics are ideally complemented by the composition and the vocals in each of those 9 tracks. The vocals are mesmerizing and the tunes are praiseworthy which made me addicted to the expression of talent. The album is out on 16th September 2022.
