The British indie-rock band will soon be back with their 4th studio album, ‘I Love You So F***ing Much’ on the 19th of July yet their recent soulful drop wins the world.
Glass Animals were responsible for the 2020 release ‘Heat Waves’ winning over the world with their quirky and catchy soundscapes, and now they are back with another album their latest release ‘Lost in the Ocean (swamp version)’ is winning the world for their seamless melodious musical vision in the song. The running time of this entire album is over 40 minutes and it has 10 tracks ‘Lost in the Ocean’ is the concluding track of the album. Yet the swamp version of this song touches the heart in the most charming way possible.
This heart-melting love ballad is surely one of the most celebrated love songs this year. The refreshing spin of this number has made many fall for this incredible release. The song does not just state about the honeymoon phase or talk about heartbreak, it is something more, something only few can witness and everyone can resonate with. Glass Animals came to the limelight with their 2014 release ‘Gooey’ and with their viral release ‘Heat Waves’ they have sealed their impression on their audience.
However, for this album they have taken a more retrospective approach experimenting with dream-like soundscapes and melodies that will touch your heart and lyricism which will make butterflies in your gut, Even the titles of these songs are also widely enchanting/ They initiate the album with “Show Pony” and as they proceed they offer releases like “What the hell is happening?”, “Creatures in Heaven”, “Wonderful Nothing”, “A Tear in Space (Airlock)”, “I Can’t Make You Fall in Love Again”, “How I Learned to Love the Bomb”, “White Roses”, “On the Run”, and “Lost in the Ocean”.
The singer and songwriter Dave Bayley has concocted some moody wordplay while they added some of the simplest yet effective harmonies and melodies for their songs. The experimental approaches also came from their guitarist Drew MacFarlane, their bassist, and their keyboard artist Edmund Irwin-Singer, and also from their drumming specialist Joe Seaward. Together they have created some sound that will melt your heart and woo your core in the most charming way. It seems that this album strives to be more passionate and has an agenda to make people fall in love once again with its seamless musical blends.
