But the audience was in for a surprise because nobody thought they would witness what they saw in her new song ‘Aankh’s music video. The track is sung by of course the very talented Sunidhu Chauhan along with Rusha and Blizza and it features none other than the beautiful and great dancer and actress Sanya Malhotra. On Friday, the video of the song was released. Sanya and Sunidhi can be seen setting the screen ablaze with their sultry dance moves, exuding confidence and energy. The video direction and the choreography were done by the impeccable duo Piyush-Shazia. The track is a break-up song and the shots creating a sense of darkness due to the outstanding set designs amplifies the lyrics of the track beyond imagination. The costumes and the art portrayed through set designs, everything seemed dreamy; out-of-this-world.
When the teaser was dropped it created a huge buzz among the fans and it was anticipated that the full music video would be nothing less than a storm which is exactly what it was. The video took the internet by storm and became one of the most sizzling tracks of this year. This is definitely a Christmas gift from the talented singer to her fans. The presence of both Sanya and Sunidhi displays a duality in the track. From the choreography’s point of view, the vibe of ‘Aankh’ is a bit similar to the track ‘Yimmy Yimmy’ by Jacqueline Fernandez may be because that track was choreographed by the due Piyush and Shazia. Even though the main hook step of the track may have not been appealing to a few of the people who have watched the music video but everyone agrees that it is in fact a great music video that will keep the audience engaged till the very last.
