The upcoming Hindi movie Yudhra is set to be explosive in its own dangerous ways but with the track ‘Sohni Lagdi’ the romantic angle is even more enhanced.
The upcoming Hindi movie Yudhra is an action film, which is directed by Ravi Udyawar and is written by Shridhar Raghavan. The lead cast is Siddhant Chaturvedi who is playing the role of Yudhra and Malavika Mohanan who plays Yudhra’s love interest. The movie is jam-packed with actions and fighting sequences that are bound to make chills roll down your spine. The movie was primarily announced in February of 2021 and it wrapped up in March of 2024 with shooting taking place in mainly Portugal and Gujarat.
The music of the movie is composed by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy and Prem-Hardeep with the backgroundscore being composed by Sanchit Balhara and Ankit Balhara. Along with this, the prolific and legendary Javed Akhtar has worked as the lyricist alongside Raj Ranjodh. The song ‘Sohni Lagdi’ is an upbeat track with a running time of 2 minutes and 30 seconds that has already become a club hit with the lead actor and actress dancing to the grooving beats in a neon-lit club. The track is sung by Jaz Dhami and Sonna Rele which showcases the smoldering chemistry between Siddhant and Malavika. The whole stage is set in a vibrant club where the actors impress the audience with spectacular and stylish outfits and catchy dance steps. The credit for the dance goes to the Bosco-Ceaser duo. The energetic and progressive beats of the track are bound to make everyone hit the dance floor like there is no tomorrow.
This action-packed film is set to showcase Siddhant, playing the role of Yudhra as a young man who deals with serious anger issues which eventually leads him to be involved in extremely notorious and dangerous drug dealing business. Malavika plays the role of Nikhat, Siddhant’s love interest who is making her debut in the Hindi film industry with this movie and their on-screen chemistry is the one everyone should look out for. Apart from this, the audience will get to see the loving and friendly Raghav Juyal do a complete 180 flip in his character as Shafiq, which only brings a thrilling dynamic to the film.
The movie is produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani under the banner of Excel Entertainment. This film is supposed to launch Siddhant Chaturvedi as the next ‘Angry Young Man’ of Bollywood and with the trailer in mind; everybody seems to agree that the movie has done what it had promised to do.
