Hailing from Perth, the musical maestro O’Neill Fernandes has brought his fans his latest album ‘Mother’s Love (Vol.4)’ which is wrapped in a bundle of nostalgia and the warm and wholesome sense of mother’s loving nature. The passion for this art form was seeded in the artist from a very early age and since then he has been nurturing his talent which led to him carving a niche for himself in the music industry. According to the artist, the album is inspired by his personal playlist that his mother and late mother-in-law used to listen to while having a good time. Songs like ‘Coconut and Calypso’ which is a song created by a German group called ‘Fernando Express’ and was released in 2004, ‘That Happy Feeling’ which is an instrumental piece of the pop genre that was created by Ghanaian musician Guy Warren in 1956. It was first released under the original name ‘An African Prayer’, and ‘Tijuana Taxi’ is the song that was sung by Herb Alpert and the Tijuana Brass band and was released in 1965 captures the very essence of their presence in the artist’s life.
His goal was to capture a mother’s love and he has been supremely successful in achieving the goal.
