American pop star Selena Gomez released another song in Spanish named ‘Baila Conmigo’ and its music video on YouTube on 24th February. As per the ‘making of’ video that she shared for the recent Vevo Footnotes installment, this is the second song of her upcoming EP called ‘Revelación’. She teamed up with Rauw Alejandro for the song. The music video has acquired more than a million views on YouTube in just one day.
Gomez revealed that she wanted to make something fun that everyone could dance to.’ She also said that she wished to work with the artists that she admires, who are respected in the Latin music scene. That is the reason to bring in Rauw Alejandro for the song. He is a popular and talented Puerto Rican rapper, singer, and composer. He is known for his unique singing style that resonates with the new generation.
‘Baila Conmigo’ is the first collaboration between Selena Gomez and Rauw Alejandro. The beautiful song is produced by Tiny. The audio of the song was premiered on January 28tyh and it was placed at number 4 on Billboard’s Hot Latin Song chart after its release. The name of the song translates as Dance with Me. The track features two people forging a bond through dance with its marvelous music video. The MV is directed by Nogari and it was shot in Brazil in October.
Gomez’s first Spanish single ‘De Una Vez’ and ‘Baila Conmigo’ are from her upcoming EP ‘Revelación’, which will be released on March 12th. An extended performance of the song was aired for the first time on Premio Lo Nuestro on February 18th on YouTube. The music video and the song are available on YouTube and other major streaming platforms.
